105mm leFH18 – German 105mm Howitzer Ammo

The set consists of nine projectiles (four of each type) with cases and three cases extra.
There three types of ammo used for leFH18 at the end of the war: standard high-explosive shell (HE), high explosive anti-tank(HEAT) Gr.39 rot HI/A, and special armour-piercing projectile (AP) PzGR42 with distance rings.
Howizter leFH18 was the basic type of German mid power artillery.Thanks to its simple and reliable construction, and varied ammunition it was used by Wehrmacht up to the end of the WWII.
It was used in towed version of the gun, on the chassises of captured French tanks and, of course, in famous SPG "Wespe".
