6 pdr OQF Mk III/V - British 6 pdr OQF Mk III/V (Late war period)
art. A35-021
The set consists of 9 projectiles (three of each type) with shells and three extra shells.
There were three types of ammunition used in 6pdr gun: standard armour-piercing shell (APC/BC) Mk 1, armour-piercing sabot (APDS) Mk1 and standard high-explosive shell (HE-Long).
British 6pdr ammuniton used in 1944-45 was more improved than ammo used during the desert combat in 1940-43. They started to use new improved high-explosive shell and special armour-piercing sabot which made fighting with German armour vehicles more effective.
